Radboud University looks at what adapted studying provisions are necessary, appropriate and feasible for each student. Provisions may vary from person to person and according to the study programme or course. Examples of possible provisions include:

  • priority when registering for tutorials;
  • access to online lectures (if available);
  • less strict deadlines;
  • (partial) exemption of obligatory attendance.

Next steps

After the meeting with the student counsellor, you will discuss the adapted studying advice with your student advisor. Arrange this meeting yourself. The student advisor will then discuss the options with the lecturer(s). Sometimes permission from the Examining Board is also required.

Please note: In some cases, contact with student counsellors is not necessary (see above) and you can contact your student advisor directly.
