Professor Marc Slors is a professor in the Philosophy of Mind. This is the area of philosophy that deals with issues surrounding the nature of the human mind and its relationship with brain and behaviour.

As well as the philosophy of psychology and the philosophy of cognitive neuroscience, philosophy of mind also deals with questions concerning free will, the causal efficacy of mental states and the nature of consciousness. Professor Slors' work concentrates on the philosophy of neuroscience, free will and the brain, social cognition and the relation between cognition and culture.
