My research in the field of language acquisition is focused on the phonological aspects of SLA and in particular on the production and perception difficulties due to the influence of L1 faced by Dutch speakers learning French.
Oral corpora constitute major resources for the creation of materials devoted to the learning/teaching of FFL. Specifically, computer corpora can be used as resources from a learner-centered perspective, to raise language awareness of different types of sociolinguistic variations.
