The research group consists of people with various disciplinary backgrounds, making research projects multidisciplinary and multi-method.

Bringing together different disciplinary perspectives, this group’s research focuses on various topics shaping the relationship between education and social inequalities, such as tracking, differentiation, segregation, parental involvement, etc. The concept of ‘unequal educational opportunities’ is central to much of the research done within this group, and projects are often carried out in close collaboration with educational professionals to help the field of education work on the task of creating equal opportunities in education. The group is strongly committed to generating research with impact.
