What will you learn

You will be trained in the study and interpretation of objects, images and art-works in a transhistorical, global and inclusive perspective. Combining theoretical and historical approaches, you gain insights in the latest shifts and trends in visual and material studies, which you apply to the rigorous investigation of past and present visual and material cultures.

Study programme

Research

All research done by students of the Master’s in Art and Visual Culture will be supervised by a researcher at the Radboud Institute for Culture & History (RICH) in Nijmegen. The central theme of RICH is 'Europe in a changing world'.
