Dr I.L. Camerino (Ileana) MSc

I am a cognitive neuropsychologist. My PhD project focuses on the role of non-neocortical structures and white-matter pathways involved in language production in stroke and small vessel disease patients. An additional topic of my research concerns the mechanism of cognitive reserve, which might support language recovery. I will use neuroimaging techniques (rsfMRI and DTI) to measure functional and structural connectivity and neuropsychogical tests to assess cognitive functions.
