Matthijs den Dulk (PhD, University of Chicago) specializes in the study of the New Testament and early Christian literature. He is the author of Between Jews and Heretics: Refiguring Justin Martyr's Dialogue with Trypho (Routledge, 2018) and is currently working on a number of projects, including a book on ethnic stereotypes and prejudices in early Christian literature. He is also co-editing, with Jörg Frey and Jan van der Watt, a volume entitled "2 Peter and the Apocalypse of Peter: Towards a New Perspective" (forthcoming with Brill in 2019).
Recent publications include "No More Itch (2 Tim 4.3)" (New Testament Studies), "Seleucus I Nicator in 4 Maccabees" (Journal of Biblical Literature) and, with Andrew Langford, "Polycarp & Polemo: Early Christianity at the Center of the Second Sophistic" (Festschrift for Hans Dieter Betz).
