Dr M.L. van Genugten (Marieke)

Marieke van Genugten studied public administration at the University of Twente. In 2008 she received her Ph.D. from the same university. Until 2010, she was assistant professor in public administration at the University of Twente. Currently, she is assistant professor in public administration at the Radboud University. Her research focuses on the organisation and governance of public service provision at the local level. In particular, she is interested in the steering relationship between municipalities on the one hand and municipally-owned companies and inter-municipal cooperations on the other hand.
