Dr J.M. Joachim (Jutta)

Jutta Joachim is senior lecturer of international relations. She received her Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her M.A. in International Studies from the University of South Carolina. She is author of Agenda Setting, the UN, and NGOs: Gender Violence and Reproductive Rights (Georgetown University Press) and co-editor of International Organizations and Implementation: Enforcers, Managers, Authorities and Transnational Activism in the UN and the EU: A Comparative Study (both Routledge Press). Articles of her have appeared among others in International Studies Quarterly, the German Journal for International Relations, Security Dialogue, Millennium, Cambridge Review of International Affairs, Comparative European Politics, Critical Military Studies, and the Journal of European Public Policy. Currently she is elected executive committee member of the International Organization section of the International Studies Association.
