Daniel Reimsbach joined Radboud University as an Assistant Professor of Accounting in August 2016. He received his PhD from Duesseldorf University, Germany, in 2011. Afterwards, he worked as a post-doctoral researcher and assistant professor (2013-2016) at Duesseldorf University. He was also the interim Chair of Accounting and Risk Management at University of Hohenheim (Stuttgart), Germany. He received the post-doctoral degree of a "Habilitation" in 2015 from Duesseldorf University, Germany.

Daniel's research addresses the effects of financial and non-financial reporting, including CSR reporting and carbon disclosure on investors' decision making. His methodological expertise is in experimental research both laboratory and online. His research has been published in highly-ranked international journals such as European Accounting Review, Business & Society, Business Strategy and the Environment, Journal of Cleaner Production, and Organizations & Environment.
