In my dissertation I deal with the social dynamics behind language variation in Northwestern Amazonia, with a special focus on Shawi, and a minor focus on Shiwilu, Munichi and Upper Amazonian Quechua. For this I am sketching a realist model of subsystematic language change dubbed the Flux Approach.
Currently, I also work on the development of an offshoot of Generative Semantics, known as Semantic Syntax, as in Seuren (1996,2017).
