Throughout my professional life, I have combined clinically applied research, clinical work, and teaching. In my research I have focussed on the development, evaluation, and implementation of diagnostic and treatment tools for people with communicative disabilities. Aphasia has been my key research theme, including intra- and inter-subject variability in aphasia therapy outcomes, quantitative measuring of functional communication skills, and the use of e-health for implementing research in clinical practice.
