Anthropologist Venbrux investigates how people cope with death in different cultures and religions. Coping with death is a universal issue. Everyone has to learn to do so, but each religion and culture has found its own solutions for dealing with this problem. In the context of death, people formulate what they consider to be important in life. Most people in our society do not want to let their loved ones go without a ritual. Such rituals embody a living religion and reveal personal religiousness.
