After all, new things come with some uncertainties. As a new professional, I often find myself in situations where I am doing something for the first time. Then thoughts come up like "Can I do this?", "What if it doesn't work out?" and "Maybe I should wait”. Increasingly, I am managing to see these nerves not as a sign that I should not do something, but rather as a sign that I should do something. These experiences have taught me that is the very situations that I found nerve-wracking that have given me the most.
With this attitude, last year I attended the Young Professional Programme, where I worked on my professional skills along with other new professionals. Besides applying the skills learnt and the self-knowledge gained, I am looking forward to developing in other areas in the coming period. For example, I would still like to follow a photography course and I also want to do first aid training.

Ever since childhood, I have been curious. I like to be aware of and involved in everything! This ensures that opportunities to learn and try new things arise regularly. However, taking the step to actually grasp these opportunities does not always come naturally.
