After completing this French language course, you will be able to:
- Understand long speeches even when not clearly structured and when relationships are only implied and not explicitly stated.
- Understand television programs and movies without too much effort.
- Understand long and complex factual and literary texts, and appreciate the use of different styles.
- Understand specialized articles and long technical instructions, even when they do not relate to your field.
- Give clear, detailed descriptions of complex topics.
- Express yourself fluently and spontaneously without noticeably searching for expressions.
- Use language flexibly and effectively for social and professional purposes.
- Write clear, well-structured text, expressing points of view at some length.
- Write about complex topics in a letter, an essay or a report, emphasizing the points that are important to me.
The course focuses primarily on verbal communication, as well as reading, listening and writing skills. You will also learn more about French culture. To receive a Radboud in’to Languages certificate, you need to attend 80% of the classes.
After this course, you will have achieved language level C1.
