Language course Spanish for intermediate students (halfway to B1)

Can you already have simple, short conversations and read short Spanish texts and write simple messages? And would you like to develop your Spanish language skills further? You can register for this Spanish halfway to B1 course. This course builds on the Spanish course A2.

    General

    After completing this Spanish language course, you will be able to:

    • have conversations on familiar topics;
    • understand the main points from simple texts;
    • formulate a personal opinion in a simple way;
    • write texts and e-mails on familiar topics;

    The course focuses primarily on verbal communication, as well as reading, listening and writing skills. You will also learn more about Spanish culture. 
    To receive a Radboud in’to Languages certificate, you need to attend 80% of the classes.

    This course will help you on your way to language level B1. After completing this course, you can continue with the course Spanish B1 to complete the B1 level.

    This course takes place from 10 October until 5 December 2024. There is no class in the week of 21 October because of the Autumn Break.

    Approach and content

    Spanish is spoken as much as possible during classes, with Dutch and English as the supporting languages. This means that in most cases, you can take this course if you do not speak Dutch. Please contact our Service Centre for more information.

    You should count on about three to four hours of individual study per week.
