The rise of generative AI such as ChatGPT, Bard and Bing has sparked concern in academia that AI will soon take over the writing process. However, we believe that human creativity and critical thinking will always play an essential role in academic writing. Generative AI can really help to make the writing process easier and more instructive. You will learn how to do this in this workshop.
Approach and content
In this 90-minute workshop, we will show you how to work effectively with AI to improve your writing productivity and quality. This workshop will help you stay ahead of the curve and embrace the possibilities of AI in your future writing practice. The workshop focuses on writing academic texts, such as research papers and essays.
This workshop is available in both Dutch and English as a tailor-made course for groups as well as individuals. The workshop content will be tailored to the type of texts for which you want to use generative AI, e.g. academic texts, web texts, or policy texts. You can also work with your own material in the workshop.
What is the target group of this workshop?
This workshop is specifically designed to cater to authors who do not shy away from using AI and want to learn how to use it wisely. The workshop is also of interest to teachers who want to teach their students how to get the most out of AI.
