The activities for this project will be held in English.
REconnect puts you in touch with students from all over the university. Everyone occasionally struggles with meeting new people and finding a connection. We want to make it easier and lower the threshold to talk to others who are now strangers, but hopefully soon won't be!
About the project
REconnect is part of a research project on student wellbeing and is led by a team of behavioural economists from the Nijmegen School of Management. You will therefore be asked to complete a survey at the beginning and at the end of the project, which will take about 20 minutes. The surveys relate to your personal situation in terms of wellbeing, social life and feelings of belonging at Radboud University, and helps our research team gain insights into how the university can support student life.
How does it work?
We organise four plenary evenings on campus with inspiring lectures and meet-and-greets. Here you will get to know Radboud University researchers more personally and find out more about how they interact with the academic world as a person. Afterwards, we will get to know each other better in the Culture Café! These sessions take place on Wednesday evenings. At each plenary session, you will receive a free drink from us during the get-together. Attendance at all sessions is desirable but not a requirement, so don't worry if you would miss one.
In addition, we also invite you to join a smaller group of five students, with whom you will take on some fun cooking challenges and have a nice meal together.
