Lieke is a PhD candidate in the Prediction and Attention lab and the Motivational and Cognitive Control lab. She is investigating the biological basis of curiosity: Why are we curious, and what type of information are we curious about?

She obtained her MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience cum laude at the Radboud University (2015).

Van Lieshout onderzoekt motivatie in hoger onderwijs, zowel intrinstiek als extrinsiek. In het verleden heeft ze nieuwsgierigheid onderzocht: waarom zijn we nieuwsgierig, en wat interessert ons het meeste?
