Maximum number of open access articles LWW for 2024
The maximum number of articles (270) that can be published open access at Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW) in 2024 is expected to be reached in mid-September. What does that mean?
Opening hours Library of Science summer 2024
From Friday 12 July through Sunday 1 September, the Library of Science will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Evening and weekend openings are cancelled during this period. The library will be closed on Friday 19 July.
Mendeley no longer available on Radboud workstations
As of September this year the reference manager Mendeley will no longer be included in the Software Center of Radboud University.
Laptop workplaces with second screen in Library of Science
In wing 2 of the Library of Science, you will now find 14 study workplaces set up to work with a laptop. You will find a keyboard, mouse and second screen. With a USB-C cable you connect this to your laptop.
Study literature as an e-book
When possible, the Library of Science will also purchase an e-book of required or mandatory study literature.

At the request of DCN-FNWI, the scientific journal Neural Computation is now fully accessible from volume 1998 to the present.

How do you make your Science author version open access?
Research funders mostly require publications based on their funding to be published open access almost immediately. The journal Science offers the opportunity to do so without paying an Article Processing Charge (APC).
Open access publications FNWI approaching 100%
96.5% of FNWI publications by 2023 will be open access globally. In 2017, that percentage was still 69.9%.
